I have these, along with the coloured ones. The first year I had them, I used the hooks they came with. This year, I hung them with thread, like the coloured ones have. It takes a little while to get the thread loops tied on, but once they’re done they’re done for good, and they hang so much better with the thread than they do with the hooks. Now they can swing in the slightest breath of air like the coloured ones do. When the tree lights are on and the room lights are off, they flash with colour each time they move. I am using the old fashioned C7 incandescent lights which really add to the effect.
