Custom Cookie Cutter FAQ

Click here to access the Custom Cookie Cutter form.
  • How do I pay for the cookie cutter? After I have completed the Cookie Cutter I will send you a link to the product page online. If your cookie cutter has been added to our online collection you will order the actual cookie cutter. If it is a logo or private cookie cutter you will order a generic product code. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, or mail us a cheque.
  • How long does it take to get a custom cookie cutter made? Usually you should hear from me within 3-4 days after submitting the request. From the time you approve the outline it takes 6-10 days for me to make and ship the cutter. So it takes about 2 weeks. During the Christmas season (Nov 1st to Dec 31st) it can take twice as long.
  • Do I get to approve the drawing? Yes you do! The first step I take is to create an outline of the cookie cutter. Once I have done this I email a PDF for you to review.
  • Do you make cookie cutter of logos? Yes we do. The cost for this is $14.95 plus the cost of the cutter ($8.95-$18.95)
  • What material do you use? I use tin plated steel. This material is rust resistant. However it can rust if left wet for a long time.
  • How do you ship? We generally use Canada Post The standard service takes 6-12 days. We do not have a handling charge. For shipments to the mainland US it runs about $5.00. Shipments to Canada start at $6.00
  • If I request a custom cookie cutter do I have to buy it? No you don't. We do not require a deposit. I do hope that if you approve the drawing and ask for one to be made that you do buy it. But if you change your mind that is okay.
  • Do you use lead solder? We use only lead free solder that is safe for food use.
  • What is the maximum and minimum size? The maximum size for a cookie cutter is about 12 inches square. At this size you would nee 2 hands and be prepared to apply even force over the entire area. There is also a cost increase for cookie cutters larger than 6"x6". The smallest size is dependent on the detail required. The more detail involved the harder it is to make it small. For anything other than a basic geometric shape consider 1.5 inches square as the smallest cutter possible.
  • What is the cost increase for large cookie cutters? Use the chart below to determine the cost adder
